Comments: My son had a complete tear of his UCL druing the summer after his junior year. In order to play baseball in college, we knew it would need to be repaired. We met with several surgeons and decided to go with Dr. Palumbo to perform Tommy John reconstruction surgery. What we appreciated about Dr. Palumbo is that he saw my son immediately, listened carefully to our questions and concerns, as well as provided the pros and cons for each of the options. He patiently, thoughtfully and thoroughly answered our numerous questions. The surgery was performed the following week. Follow up and rehab has gone very well and 11 months out, my son, while not at 100%, is already throwing at pre-injury velocity, with still more upside to come. He leaves for college this fall and is ready to get back to competitive pitching in the spring. Dr. Palumbo and his assistant Danielle were really fantastic through the whole process. We would recommend him wholeheartedly.
